US Ambassador Ken Juster apologizes after Mahatma Gandhi’s statue vandalized in Washington DC.

Washington DC: The incident happened on Tuesday night when some miscreants defaced the Statue Mahatma Gandhi in front of Indian Embassy in Washington DC. Amid on going protest in USA after the death of Gorge Floyd (46 Year Old) The statue was spray painted by some miscreants. The statue has been covered since the defacement/vandalism.

US officials apologized for this miscreants act. On Thursday US Ambassador to India Ken Juster tweeted “So sorry to see the desecration of the Gandhi statue in Wash, DC. Please accept our sincere apologies. Appalled as well by the horrific death of George Floyd & the awful violence & vandalism. We stand against prejudice & discrimination of any type. We will recover & be better.”
